ROARK collaborated with Kultnation to create an investor video for Mexico City’s first NY style pizzeria. Shot on location in Mexico City, the video showcases the passionate vision and philosophy of Pizza Local’s founder, Paulo Letechipia.
Alongside the video, a graphic identity was needed to help Pizza Local as it begins building its foundation in the Mexico City food scene. After speaking with Paulo Letechipia, themes such as 100% Made in Mexico, internationally relevant and a positive and intertwined sense of community came through as the focal points for the branding development.
The final branding concept drew heavily on the graphic abstraction of the woven threads that hold together the fabric of one of Mexico’s most traditional visual icons. The textile patterns used in traditional Mexican weaving have become an international source of inspiration for ongoing trends in fashion.
